I was diagnosed with a type of cancer, sarcoma, over two years ago. This cancer is rare and incurable. Only with intensive medical treatments can a person stay alive and healthy enough to enjoy life. To date, my medical bills have approached a good fraction of a million dollars! When my group plan insurance ran out, I entered Cobra. When my Cobra was about to end, I was faced with continuing medical bills of staggering size. One of my chemo treatments costs $6,000 each time! Dear Mr. Fox
 
Thank you so much for all the help you have given me over the last three weeks.  When I got a letter stating that my Cal Cobra coverage would be ending in one week, on March31st, 2008 I was devastated and scared.  After many phone calls trying to figure out what I was going to do about getting health insurance I was directed to you.  You persistently took down my information and submitted it to see if I would qualify for an individual plan, because as you said that would be the best deal.  Well, then I was offered an HMO conversion policy through my current health plan while waiting for a response from underwriting. Then when I was rejected with an individual plan, talking to you about the benefits between the new coverage and the conversion plan offered, I could make my choice.  You were always there ready to help and listen and offer all your knowledge.  I have put this research to bed and made my decision today, but it was all possible because you were such a good conversationalist, a good communicator, efficient, knowledgeable and a mover and a shaker. 
 
I have to just say thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Even though I chose to go with my conversion policy, I would recommend you to anyone needing health insurance of any kind.  You are a blessing and I thank you for helping me at this most difficult time.
